A heck of a lot of snow. The blizzard of ’67 still has not been matched. All that snow fell in one storm over one 30-hour period. By the end, 23 inches covered Chicago and the suburbs, the largest single snowfall in the city’s history. As you can see, we had drifts almost up to the gutters of our house… talk about being “snowed in”
